I just got home from camping where I was without cell service for a week. While coming down the hill Cole was frustrated by all the texts coming from my inbox as my phone found a signal. I didn't bother looking at them figuring I would caught up Monday morning. When I got home Krista gave me the news my friend Chris Laurie was killed in his station wagon I told him he "looked good in", he would have looked good even in a xterra.
He is gone. 33. This world on a string. Now he is in Heaven and Jesus is enjoying his laugh.
Heaven just got the one of the cooler, nicer guys you ever hope to meet. His daughters won't even get to know him.
God, thank you for Chris for a little while....I know your will is perfect, but this hurts.
